Wolfgang Lackerschmid wrote jazz history at a young age with the album "Ballads for Two" in a duo with Chet Baker. As a vibraphonist and composer, he stands for lively jazz: virtuosic, humorous, harmonically sophisticated - and always melodic. With the line-up assembled for his 70th birthday, he can draw on a wealth of stylistic resources. It will be funky, groovy, swinging, deep in the ballads and rousing in the uptempo.
